Rick Martig
Chief Financial Officer,
BlueArc Corporation

Rick Martig is responsible for managing the finance and accounting functions at BlueArc. Martig comes to BlueArc with 22 years experience in the field, most recently from Genesis Microchip (now STMicroelectronics), a leading supplier of display image processors in the flat-panel TV and LCD monitor markets. At Genesis he served as the company's CFO and senior vice president of finance.

Prior to joining Genesis, Mr. Martig spent twelve years at Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX), a worldwide leader in field programmable gate array (FPGA) solutions. At Xilinx, he served as Senior Director of Corporate Finance and managed the Company's worldwide accounting operations in San Jose, Dublin and Singapore. In this role, he was responsible for corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis and external reporting. Mr. Martig also led the implementation of SOX 404 and the creation of an internal compliance organization. From 1997 to 2003 at Xilinx, Mr. Martig was Business Unit Operations Controller. Prior to Xilinx, Mr. Martig worked from 1990 to 1995 at Spectra Physics Lasers, where he served in various roles including Plant Controller and Treasury Manager. Previously, Mr. Martig was a General Accounting Manager at Bonsu Ü Microamerica from 1985 to 1990. He is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara with a BS degree in finance and holds an MBA from St. Mary's College.
