We are looking for Graduate QA Engineers to join a strong Engineering QA team. This team ensures the BlueArc storage system solutions are robust and fit for purpose.
The position will involve working with our Development Engineers, creating test plans, developing test cases, carrying out a variety of tests and managing defects from inception to verification and closure.

This is a challenging full lifecycle testing role within a dedicated QA team committed to quality.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will need to meet the following basic requirements:

Good degree in either an engineering or computing discipline
Good communicator
Some experience in a number of the following areas:
- UNIX and Windows environments
- TCP/IP networks
- Microsoft Networking
- SMB/CIFS
- NFS
- Gigabit Ethernet
- Fibre Channel
- RAID and disk sub-systems
- Embedded software systems

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for this role will be:

Developing and running new feature tests and regression tests in both UNIX and Windows environments
Liaison with Development groups (hardware and software) for test development tasks and supporting investigations and resolution of issues encountered by our customers
Writing or modifying test scripts or programs with significant use of the Python language.
Tasks within the test lab, including installing, configuring and maintaining test environments
Verifying our online product documentation
Use of Mercury Interactive’s Quality Centre application for test case creation and defect management
